Reflection- Runthrough of Website

The page you arrive at as soon as the url is typed in is the home page which gives you the option of choosing one of the five links which are

1. Animal shelters - This page is about what animal shelters are and the ones that are very popular around Australiia.

2. RSPCA- This page is about the RSPCA Shelters and what their goals are, it also gives you the link to open the Australian RSPCA website.

3. AWL- This page is about the AWL which is the Animal Welfare League. As well as the RSPCA it tells you about the company and what their goals are.

4. How You Can Help- This page shows how you can help and support the RSPCA and AWL.

5. People Who Make A Differnce- This page shows 3 video's of people and companys that have given their time to help animals.

Reflection

As we have missed many Wise lessons last term i have been working on my Wise Project at home. So far i have and still continuing to sell chocolates for the RSPCA and raised more then $100 with each box! I also have made a website about animal shelters and what they do to help the animals and how the community can help. The link to my website is bellow:

WISE- Reflection: 13.8.10

My WISE project has been a bit difficult at this stage, because the person that ran the fundraising, changed hands so i have had to re-send my order form. I have still been considering selling the cupcakes at school but there have been many people selling merchandise so it is getting a bit difficult.

Reflection- 30.7.10

Today in Wise i am again deciding what i will be doing as the other part of my WISE project whether it being:

• Going to a family friend’s house that has puppies, take a photo and laminate it to help sell chocolates.
• Helping out at the centre
• Make a Book
• PowerPoint and send it to all of year 9
• Posters to put around the school

I am setting my goal for chocolate selling, the least being 8. And the most being 15.

Reflection- 9.6.10

Today in WISE i will be thinking about what i will do to help the community and what i will do in the holidays that will relate to my WISE project. I will submit my fundraising sheet to the RSPCA so i will be able to sell products as soon as possible.

Today in WISE we talked about what we have learnt so far for example:
1. Persistence
2. Metacognition
3. Creating, imagining and innovating.
i will be taking notes on the history on the RSPCA and will fill out a form for fundraising.
